FEEDING
MANAGEMENT |
|  We
recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or
any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian.
When switching your dog's diet, the change should be
made gradually, by replacing the current food with increasing
portions of Natural Balance® Ultra Premium Reduced
Calorie Formula. The change should be completed after
5 to 7 days. The maintenance of proper body weight is
most important for your dog's health. Consult your veterinarian
for specific weight recommendations for your dog. Remember,
fresh clean water should be available at all times!
The
Adult Adult dogs should be fed either once or twice
per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance®
Reduced Calorie Formula, we suggest to start with the
amounts recommended in the Table. Energy requirements
vary with environmental conditions, temperature and
activity of your dog. The amount of food should always
be adjusted to suit your dog’s needs. If you would
like to provide a special treat for your dog, you can
add small amounts of Natural Balance® Canned Dog
Food.
The
Older Dog As your dog begins to age, his energy
expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of
food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper
body weight for less active dog. Older dogs are sometimes
more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts
of Natural Balance® Canned Dog Food or Natural Balance®
Dog Food Rolls will make the most "finicky"
eater enjoy his daily meals. |

want you to know how much my dog loves your products!
I have a 2 year old chihuahua that was a bit overweight.

am a foster parent for Great Dane Rescue Of North Texas.
We currently have almost 60 Danes in rescue in the DFW
area. We stumbled upon one of your bags of Natural
Balance® Reduced Calorie Dog Food which was
donated to us by Petco. It is absolutely amazing! I have
2 senior female foster Danes which are overweight. I was
totally shocked at how they went after this food. It is
VERY difficult to find a food with reduced fat content
that the dogs actually like. The dogs went after this
food the first feeding like they were totally starving.
They totally loved it. I will definitely attempt to budget
in this food for these 2 “pogs” from now on!

have 2 cats and 1 dog and I use both Natural Balance
Reduced Calorie Dog Food and the Reduced Calorie
Cat Food. I discovered both on the recommendation of the
staff at Centinela Feed about a year ago when I went looking
for new foods because my pets had become disinterested
in the brands I was using. I decided to try it immediately
after reading the labels because natural products and
natural remedies, antioxidants, the avoidance of additives
and preservatives have always been an important part of
my health regimen as well as what I strived for with my
pets. Normally, my Shih-Tzu is very picky and it takes
her a while to get used to a new dry food. When I gave
her a sample of Natural Balance to try, she gobbled it
right up and we have never looked back! She loves the
Reduced Calorie Dog Food, and she has more energy than
ever. She is 12 but runs around like she is a young dog!

just wanted to drop you a note and tell you how happy
I am with your dog food. We have a yellow Lab who will
be 4 years old next month and After having Maggie on your
Natural Balance® Reduced
Calorie Dog Food and also a little bit of your
food rolls mixed in ~ what I change I see in her. Her
hair strands are still thick but they are so soft, the
pads on her feet, yes the skin is thick and tough but
it is SMOOTH, it's not rough and cracked. Maggie also
used to have what I would call calluses on her elbows,
well, they are going away and the hair is coming back.
I have no idea why she had this rough skin, she only lays
on carpet or our bed. Again, excellent product and would
recommend to anyone and have. Thank you for such a great

have a 13 year old Dalmatian named Dakota, who was diagnosed
with the beginning of kidney failure and pancreatitis.
I was instructed to take her off as much fat and protein

 I
just wanted to let you know that I THANK GOD that you
have made such a FINE REDUCED CALORIE FORMULA
for Dogs. Not only does my Yorkie LOVE it, it's just
what she needs. She loves any kind of food. Takes after
her Dad. And she is 8 yrs old & need a controled
weight management food. I love for her to eat, but I
know it's bad for her legs & hips that she has dislocated
a number of times due to her jumping in her younger
years. So I try my best to give her the Best Food I
can find but yours not only is Low Calorie, but low
in Protein, Fat, & gives her the Fiber she needs
also. She loves apples, all vegetables etc. so needless
to say she trys to over-eat if I just give her your
