| just want to thank you for a fantastic product! We have
a 10 year old American Staffordshire Terrier Mix. As recently as 2 months
ago we believed that her days were numbered. She had lots of intestinal
disturbances - severe bloating, decreased appetite, vomiting. On Easter
Sunday we decided that she must be getting close. We took her in to her vet
the following monday, planning on putting her to sleep. The vet suggested we
try her on some new food first. I went to our local pet food warehouse and

for several weeks and she is flourishing! She has no intestinal troubles at

 We started our rescue dog, Summer, who is Doberman/Weimaraner on your Natural
Balance® Sweet
Potato and Fish Formula two weeks ago because she broke out in a severe rash over almost 100% of her body. We previously had her on Chicken Soup Adult Light since November, 2008 for weight control. She had been having chronic ear infections as well. After skin biopsies last week, while being unable to pinpoint the exact ingredient, our Vet determined it must be a food allergy. So, we switched her to your NB and her ear infections are gone (with the use of antiobiotic drops as well) and her skin is 95% cleared. A co-worker at my husband's office told him about the success of her dog on this formula so we made the switch. | Just wanted to thank you for your products.I have
discovered as we grow older, our bodies have a harder time digesting food.So
we changed our diets and feel better. This has happened to our dogs. I had
noticed it was getting harder for them to digest their food. I went to

| Just wanted to let you know that my eight year old, mixed
breed sheepdog-lab mix, Patches, was experiencing problems with his skin. He
was getting hot spots that were opening up and getting pussy on his legs and
elbows as he was getting older, and dragging his bottom on the grass
frequently. He also was shedding excessively. I took him to the vet's
office a few times and we decided to limit his diet. So I went for a trip
to the pet store to look for an allergy-free diet. There were many to
choose from, so I really took the time out to read the labels carefully. I
ended up purchasing your product because it seemed to have the most simple
ingredients and no fillers. The label on the front with the allergy free
symbol was a no-brainer. I took Natural Balance® Sweet Potato & Fish home and he loved
it! I also purchased the treats for small dogs - allergy free. He has
since tried the duck and loved that too! The cans also are a treat for him
every now and then. He was overweight and is now on target. His skin has

| My dog was recently diagnosed with EPI, a pancreatic
disorder. He also has food allergies. After trying several other brands, it
was your Natural
Balance® Sweet
Potato and Fish Formula dry and canned foods that enabled
him to get better and he is now stable. You are one of the few companies
that provides a special LID version for EPI dogs, so essentially, this food
has saved my dogs life, along with pancreas enzymes and some vitamin
supplements. His skin/coat have improved significantly, he has normal stools
now, and he can finally digest a dog food that is not only good for him, but
does not contain grains which is a no-no for EPI diagnosed dogs. He has been
using your product now for 5 weeks and he no longer has food allergies. For

| I cannot express enough gratitude for what your dog food
has done for my dog. When I got him as a 6 month old, he came with allergies
and all sorts of symptoms, non of which were good. He had allergy shots on a
regular basis and he chewed his fur off. The vet said he didn't think it
would come back. It looked like a bareback saddle. He is an old english
sheepdog so you might imagine how bad he looked. Your food has worked
miracles. No more chewing, scratching, allergy shots, and his hair is full

| After several months of my Boxer puppy (now 8 months old)
having blood in her stool she now is having normal stool. I tried so many

have an 8 mo. old 1/2 English Bulldog & 1/2 Pit with
the most sensitive tummy I've ever seen. He's also got
skin allergies. Well, I made his 4th food switch in December,
but again, no luck even though it was a premium food w/no
corn, soy, by-products or fillers- still chronic diarrhea
and gas foul enough to clear out a room. I have spent
endless hours researching dog foods and allergies. 2 wks
ago I started the research yet again and found Natural
Balance L.I.D. formulas and was thinking, well, it's worth
a shot! Although I would not normally recommend switching
a dog's food cold turkey, poor Roscoe's tummy just couldn't
get any worse than it already was, so I went to PETCO
and bought the Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato and Fish Formula. formula and some of
the treats. After only TWO feedings, his stool improved
100%!! It was completely normal for the first time (consistently)
basically since I've had him at 10 wks old! I returned
to PETCO this weekend and decided to purchase some of
the Natural Balance® Potato
and Duck Formula too, along with some of
the canned food to see if changing him from one flavor
to another would affect him at all, and nope! Still solid
stool. Not to mention he loves both formulas and really
enjoys the canned food mixed in with the kibble. I cannot
begin to say how thankful I am that I found this food!
I am so relieved. I never thought I'd be so excited to
see solid poop, but I was...before it was always a guessing
game as to what it was going to look like...not to mention
the disgusted looks of people passing by when he was having
"trouble" pottying. If only I had found the
food sooner! I am looking forward to an improved coat
as well, as I have read countless reviews online of those
who say that's also been the case with this food. And
another bonus- this food is about $8-10 cheaper per 30
lb. than the last food I was purchasing! Anyway, thank
you so much. I am just so thankful that this 5th switch
will be the last and no more disappointments during potty
time and the gas has significantly decreased as well.
I'm sure Roscoe's tummy feels much better and I truly
think he's a much happier puppy now! I highly recommend
this food to anyone's dog or cat, whether they have sensitive

are our loving boys Patches and Coco! They were on a brand
that I had thought was good for them, but really isn't.
Packaging really isn't everything. We notice that they
had itching (allergy problems) as well as bowel problems
on the old food. Since we switched that took to Natural
Balance® Sweet Potato & Fish Formula
very quickly! And they LOVE the Venison treats too! They

had to write to express my gratitude for your product!
My 3 year old German Shepherd had been diagnosed with
Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency about 2 years ago. He
went from a healthy 100lbs to a skinny sickly 72-lbs!

have a 17 year old dog with chronic bronchitis. She has
coughed and gagged for several years. She was on a lot
of meds, including steroids. Someone told me about your

and I tried it. She has improved with this dog food. I
have slowly taken her off the meds and she is doing much
better. She has a lot of allergies and I am thinking food
could have been a big problem. She coughs a little but

like to compliment you on your Natural Balance®
Sweet Potato & Fish Formula. Our 8 yr old
greyhound, Rider, has had loose stools since we got him
at just under 2 yrs old. Over the years we have tried
many kinds of kibble including the very high end "specialty"
types- and nothing helped. The vet couldn't help - we
were stumped. We settled on Science Diet's Sens Stomach
formula because it helped a little but were unhappy because
of the poor quality ingredients. A person in our rescue
suggested your Sweet P & Fish saying it had helped
one of their dogs - and within a few days of eating it
full time our dog now has normal movements and we have
the comfort of knowing that he is eating a much higher

I have
3 dogs (2 Mini Poodles & 1 Toy Poodle) and have been
rotating brands for nearly 2 years in an effort to find
the right food. My Toy Poodle, Alfie, has always suffered
from digestive problems. In addition to his sensitive
tummy, most foods (esp. those containing poultry and sunflower
oil) sent him into a paw licking frenzy, and he would
sometimes even chew his paw pads. Alfie has also always
suffered from really bad tear stains - I had pretty much
accepted the fact that his face would always be badly

have written before about my bulldog and his allergies.
After he was about one year old Brodie started developing
allergies. He had always eaten grocery store dog food.
I decided to try Natural Balance allergy formulas. We
first tried the potato and duck formula and after about
one month the red/pinkness on his face and paws went away
and he quit the licking and scratching. Now we are feeding

dog food. My lab mix, Marley, suffered from chronic ear

Natural Balance, I live in Caledon Ontario and have a
9 month old bullmastiff puppy named Rufus. Since we brought
him home at 11 weeks his stools have been very loose and
he suffered from severe gas. We took him to the veterinarians
on several occasions and have tried him on several different
types of foods. The problem continued to get worse. All
of his test results came back negative. Everything appeared
to be fine. We were at our wits end, very distressed about
his condition and the prolonged discomfort our dog had
suffered. The vet suggested that we try a "feeding
trial" for the next 3 months. I couldn't wait another
day let alone 3 months! I went to Global pet foods in
brampton and explained our problem and they suggested
that we put him on Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato & Fish Formula. That it was a simple
food, grain free, and that it just might work. That day
we started to feed him this new food. I noticed a slight
improvement the first day but didn't want to get my hopes
up. 4 days later it's like a miracle has taken place.
He doesn't have anymore gas, he loves his food, His appetite
is back, he is more active, and his stools are normal
for the first time!!!! I feel like shouting from the mountain
tops. This has changed our entire family life. It has
been very difficult having a pet that experienced so much

just started my dogs on Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato & Fish Formula. In only 4 days, I
have seen a dramatic change in my dogs’ behavior
when I take them outside. My one dog always ravaged eating
grass, mud, and roots, and some nasty stuff. BUT since
I started my dogs on Nat’l Balance, it’s truly
a miracle. I can walk my dogs outside w/out them pulling
and digging to eat the grass, mud and stuff. I can walk
them on long walks, and they just walk along and just
stopping to sniff once in awhile. They are different as
night and day. I’m sure my dogs would thank you
for improving the quality of their lives. I wish I had
known about this before. I had asked several vets about
this and they told me “some dogs just like grass.”
Fortunately, I went to a dog training class and the instructor
told me about corn being a problem and to look for foods
where chicken, beef, lamb, salmon or sweet potatos were

 Logan,
my ridgeless Rhodesian Ridgeback, turned 5 years old this
past March. When he was 1 and 1/2, he started exhibiting
an allergic reaction... itchy mouth, ear infections, skin
rashes, rectal bleeding, vomiting, and food refusal (unheard
of for a ridgeback). With consultation from our vet, we
went through several longterm doses of metranidazole,
which helped only temporarily, and several diet trials.
The diet trials included beef/rice, turkey/rice, and several
*allergy formulas* of other dog foods. My poor dog was
suffering, and my instinct was that it was an allergy
to chicken, eggs, and rice. My vet kept putting him on
chicken-based allergy formulas, so I took a second opinion,
where Logan had full bloodwork, x-rays, and a full checkup.
Nothing. I went with my instincts. I informed both vets
that we would be trying Natural Balance® Sweet
Potato & Fish Formula, and he's been on it
ever since. I just want to thank you a million times over
for saving my dog's life and saving me countless vet expenses.
Please don't ever stop making this food! To all the other
dog owners out there with allergy problems, don't give
up! One thing that took me a while to figure out is that
allergic symptoms can continue to occur up to six weeks
after exposure, even if the allergen is no longer present.
I did a lot of food research to determine what the best
food for my dog would be, looking at insoluble/soluble
fiber ratios, omega 3/6 counts, calcium phosporus ratios,
and % protein. Sweet Potato and Fish formula fit the bill,
and I wish I could express how healthy he is on it. His
coat simply glows. He still gets a hold of chicken or
egg-based tidbits, mostly through other people, and his
latest reaction is a mad case of hives. However, his reactions
are considerably less severe on the Sweet Potato and Fish
formula, than they were on other foods. I don't know how
so many dog food companies get it wrong, but I am so glad
that you are getting it right. It's time we take a serious
look at why the allergy rate for dogs (and people) is
skyrocketing! I suspect a good deal of the blame lies
on food source and preparation quality. You guys need
to get into the vet clinics to stop them from selling
the cheap, filler dog foods labeled as 'prescription diets.'
If it wasn't for Natural Balance, my dog would be on one
of those formulas with a lifetime of drugs and possibly
steroids ahead of him. You have a lifelong customer here!

 I
want to thank you for such a wonderful product. Our 4
yr old dog, Cabo, is allergic to everything. Upon having
an allergy test completed, we found Cabo was allergic
to corn, poultry, soybeans, rice, barley, alfalfa &
green peas. And I can't forget to mention 24 other indoor
& outdoor allergies!!You have no idea how hard it
is to find food & treat items that meet his needs.
We were using a veterinarian mix that contained a lot
of fat. It started making Cabo fat. That's when I discovered
Natural Balance® Sweet Potato & Fish Formula.
Natural Balance has been a life saver for us. Not only
does it meet his feeding needs, it also makes him keep
a fit & trim body. And it helps that he likes the
"fish & chips" he gets to eat everyday.
We have introduced a new puppy to our home. I was excited
to see that I can feed our new puppy the same food as
we currently have Cabo eating. Now I don't have to worry
about Cabo eating the puppy formula food that is full
of the items he is allergic to. Our puppy loves the food
too. Makes it an easy transition for him to the food he
will be eating for the rest of his life. I don't know
with whom this will be shared with in the Natural Balance
organization. However, I want to say keep up the good
work & thank you. When developing new products, please
keep in mind dogs like Cabo. We owners of these special
dogs struggle to find acceptable foods/treats. I know

just want to say that my dog loves the Natural
Balance® Sweet Potato & Fish Formula!!
She is allergic to alot of grains, she might have bone
cancer so I have to also watch what she eats and treat
her bones. The Sweet Potato works so well with her because
of Vitamin A and the Omega 3 oils! I wanted to mention
that a few sweet potato kibbles fell on my floor, and
my cats even love the stuff. I thought I would mention
this maybe you could consider a dry food also with the
Sweet Potato and Fish for cats. I'm sure it would be great
for them! They love it!!!! The love the fish in it!! I'm

started using the Sweet Potato and Fish
on my Red Tri Aussie, Forrest when I noticed the color
and texture of his coat weren't what they were. Within
a month or so, his coat is absolutely shining, soft, and
he looks beautiful. I got so many compliments on the difference
between then and now. He is an ASCA CH. and just took
4 points this last weekend giving him 12 AKC points. Thank
