Balance® Sweet Potato &
Fish Formula is a proven formula
for dogs with allergies based on our unique single source
protein and single source carbohydrate blend.
Some
dogs may be highly sensitive to commonly used proteins,
carbohydrates and food additives in their diet. Allergic
reactions can lead to irritable bowel, upset stomach,
and a number of skin problems. Natural Balance®
has created Sweet Potato & Fish formula for dogs
with these food allergies. Our Sweet Potato & Fish
formula combines fresh salmon, a single source of animal
protein that most dogs have not been exposed to, and
fresh sweet potatoes, a single source of carbohydrate
not commonly found in dog foods, along with effective
natural ingredients to help rebuild the dog's immune

Puppies can begin nibbling on moistened Natural
Balance® Sweet Potato and Fish Dry Dog Food
before they are weaned. From six weeks to six months,
feed three times a day. You may want to add a small
amount of Natural Balance® Fish
and Sweet Potato Canned Dog Food for ease of
feeding. The amount of canned dog food can be gradually
decreased as the puppy matures. After six months,
it is recommended to feed twice daily.

weight is most important for your dog’s health.
Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations

Adult Adult dogs should be fed either once or twice
per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance®
Sweet Potato & Fish Formula, we suggest to start
with the amounts recommended in the Table. Energy requirements
vary with environmental conditions, temperature and
activity of your dog. The amount of food should always
be adjusted to suit your dog’s needs.
Pregnant

Minimal increase needed during first 6 weeks.
Weeks 7, 8, & 9 increase up to 25%.

Immediately after whelping, the nutritional demand increases
by 50% compared to maintenance levels. Feed in 3 equal
meals per day.
Working
Dogs Based on the work your dog will be asked to
perform, the nutritional requirements will vary accordingly.
As the work load increases, the demand for protein and
fat increases proportionally. Dogs in hard training
will generally require twice the maintenance levels.
The
Older Dog As your dog begins to age, his energy
expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of
food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper
body weight for less active dog. |

FEEDING
MANAGEMENT |
| We
recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or
any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian.
When switching your dog’s diet, the change should
be made gradually, by replacing the current food with
increasing portions of Natural Balance® Sweet Potato
& Fish formula. The change should be completed after
3 to 5 days. The maintenance of proper body weight is

just wanted to let you know that I have been using your

wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I love your
dog food. My dog developed a severe ear infection that
was a result of a food allergy. Initially I was feeding
him prescription food, until someone recommended your

IT! Not only does he love it, but he looks great. His

just wanted to tell how amazing your food is. I was on
another brand of dog food that I thought was good quality.
My poor 15 year old Jack Russell has been going down hill.
I was told to feed him a fish based diet and I did, well
I went to get his food and was told there was a production
problem until June or July. The man at the store told
me to try the Natural Balance® Sweet Potato
& Fish Formula. My dog has only been on your
food for 2 weeks if that and his hair is coming back and
a sore is healing up. It is truly amazing. His hold attitude

 Your
food is great, it completely changed my dogs health. Mr.
Bones (Buddy) a very well behaved and lovable American
Pit Bull Terrier had constant diarrhea, itchy skin, bumps
all over himself, and would stink two days after a bath.
After trying lots of different dog foods and then white
rice and yogurt on the advice of a vet, I tried your food.
A sales person recommended Duck and Potato, within a day
the diarrhea stopped, his energy improved, but something
still wasn't right, the itching didn't stop and his bumps
or smell didn't improve. I suspected the Duck knowing
that he was allergic to chicken. I switched him to the

| When
my daughter and I adopted Mikey from the local Animal
Control Center, our now 8 year old black lab was constantly
shedding. He even had to go to the vet every 3-6 months
and have his glands expressed. Poor guy! We tried the
veterinarian recommended dry food, and his shedding
and digestion issues continued. Then we tried prescription
dog food, but that only helped his digestion. I read
the ingredients on about 15 different bags of dog food
at the local Pet Store and finally came across Natural
