PRODUCT INFORMATION

Natural Balance® Duck & Potato Canned Formula is a proven formula for dogs with sensitivities based on our unique protein and carbohydrate blend. No grains such as wheat, barley, rice, or corn.

Potato & Duck Some dogs may be highly sensitive to commonly used proteins, carbohydrates and food additives in their diet. Sensitivity reactions can lead to irritable bowel, upset stomach, and a number of skin problems. Natural Balance® has created Duck & Potato Canned Formula for dogs with these food sensitivities. Our Duck & Potato Canned Formula combines fresh duck, a source of animal protein that most dogs have not been exposed to, and a potatoes, a carbohydrate source not commonly found in dog foods, along with effective natural ingredients to help rebuild the dog's immune system.

Theo Natural Balance Duck & Potato Canned Formula is a complete and balanced diet for your dog, yet it has been formulated to complement our Potato & Duck Formula Dry Food, as well as Potato & Duck Treats, so dogs with sensitivities can now have a complete grain-free diet. For growing puppies, the Canned Food can be mixed with Natural Balance® Potato & Duck Dry; a mixture that could ease the weaning process and stimulate appetite during this stressful time. For lactating bitches, a gradual increase in food intake is necessary starting around week 8 or 9 of pregnancy. Adding Natural Balance® Duck & Potato Canned Formula satisfies the increased caloric requirement. Also great for picky-eaters and can help kindle the appetite of the older dog.

FEEDING MANAGEMENT

• Puppies, Pregnant and Nursing Females, require 2 to 3 times the adult amounts.
• A reduction in food intake is recommended for less active and Older Dogs.
• Serve at room temperature.
• Any unused portion should be covered and refrigerated.
• Fresh water should be available at all times.

I just wanted to let you know that my 9 year old wheaten terrier has severe food allergies. Thank goodness for Natural Balance Natural Balance® L.I.D. My name is Nina Renee Staroba and I have a female boxer named Cecelia. (CC for short). Here is her story: In August of 2007, she became ill with diarrhea. She was 63 pounds at this point. After several trips to the vet and a a few thousand dollars later, she was diagnosed with EPI. (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.) It took until Dec. 2007 to diagnose her correctly. She was down to 47 lbs. I was worried that she was going to die shortly. Her vet prescribed enzyme replacement medicine and told me to mix it with her food. At that time, I was using a commercial brand. Needless to say it didn't work. So he told me to try a premium brand. Well, I tried several of them with no avail. I was desperate at that point. She was wasting away quickly. I live in Illinois and went to Petco in Edwardsville. I spoke with the young manager on duty about my CC and her illness, (Ryan was his name). He handed me a can on Natural Balance® Duck & Potato Formula and said that a lot of dogs do well on this brand. I fed it to CC that evening with her enzymes mixed in and her first stool was PERFECT!! I immediately went back and bought a case. All weekend long her stools were perfect, no more diarrhea. I wanted to share our story. We have two chocolate cocker spaniels, Sherman Abercrombie and Jilian Chickabee. When we got Sherman we did not know how rare the chocolates were. We spent a year trying to find another one, but we finally did and she was beautiful! We made it through our healthy puppy exam and then things started to go wrong. She had a cherry eye, which we had surgery on and then the other eye, which, again, we had surgery on! At about 2 yrs. old she started to have skin break outs. Terrible scratching and ear infections. My sister-in-law worked for a vet. She asked the vet if she could suggest anything. She called me back and said find a good Potato and Duck dog food...my quest was on.
