I am SO happy to have found your Limited Ingredient Formulas! We struggled to find something for our soft coated wheaton terrier, Finnegan, for months, and this was the only brand that finally worked! Within a matter of days his "hot spots" were healing & disappearing, his itching subsided, he wasn't having diarrhea or vomitting, etc. And, he eats more/is more interested in his food now! I wanted to show you my blue himalayan cat that I have had for 16 years. For the past year she was not feeling well to the point where she quit jumping on furniture, hid under an end table and then my sister would have to put her food and water next to her because she was to week to walk to her food. The doctor's said there is nothing they could do for her. I took her just a few months ago (around Aug) to another vet and the medicine was not working so my sister did lots of research on organic, protein, vitamins and fiber and tried several brands until she coming up with your product and one other that are mixed together and see what the end result was in just 3 months. I was wondering how I can be on some sort of list to receive coupons to help me with the cost of the food that I purchase each month for my Boxer. He has done amazing since being switched from Euakanuba Boxer to the Natural Balance® Sweet Potato and Venison he absolutely loves this food. When I first bought it there was approx 1 cup of his old food in the bowl so I dumped 1 cup of his new food thinking food is food and he will eat it.. boy was I wrong he ate all around the old food and refused to eat it. I have always had a hard time heeping weight on him and he always looked to skinny (not lean just skinny) within a week not only did I notice a huge change but all of my neighbors did as well. I consulted an animal physical therapist who also does nutrition as a result of their animal obesity program concerning weight loss food for a Toy Rat Terrier who should weigh 15lbs but currently tips the scales at 18lbs. She is allergic to just about everything. I am on social security now so resources are low. I was wondering the price of the IVD vennison and potato but she told me about your foods, that they were just a little less costly. She looked up the calories and helped me figure a twice daily portion. I zipped to your site and found a store in my area and drove down a bought a bag and one can to try. She wore out on the kibbles within about two weeks. I then mixed the kibbles and some moist of the same food (canned) and we're back in the running. We are happy. I am happy that her allergy redness is totally gone, her coat is healthy and she's both healthy and happy. I have two wonderful dogs, a Weim and a Vizsula, that are just thriving on Natural Balance: shiny coats, healthy, frisky, clean teeth and breath. As puppies I fed them Wolf Cub and then switched them to Natural Balance. However, after speaking recently to a dog care professional, I was actually considering changing them to a completely homemade food diet/raw diet, but I was worried that I would not be able to supply them with the correct nutrients necessary for their needs, nor was I looking forward to preparing meals for my pets as well as my family, but honestly I would do anything for them to give them the best food possible. I even keep a stash of your dog biscuits and chips when I don't have time to make my own. So I set out to do some research. I was horrified with what I learned about commercial dog foods, which is basically what compeled me to write to you. Honestly it was enough to give a person nightmares. I did find, however, that I have been feeding them the best food possible, ranked at 122 points and given an A+ on www.the-puppy-dog-place.com/dog-food-ratings.html. I emailed this infomation to everyone I know who has a dog, so they could see how their food ranked and letting them know how my dogs' food ranked. I have never contacted a manufacturer to say a word to them pro or con, and please understand I am not contacting you to get anything. Just wanted to thank you for your great product. My cat has only been able to eat Hills Science Diet ZD formula for the past two years due to an allergy that nearly took him from me. It was getting too expensive to keep up with the increasing cost of the food, but what was I to do. I went to a PETCO and a young man suggested I try your food. I printed out the ingredients and took them to my vet to see if it would be OK to try (I was scared to try it on my own). She said it looked great. It's been a few months now and he loves the food and is doing well. It is way more affordable and I might even try another variety. Izzy the wonder dog goes to work daily at an assisted living facility where she takes care of her grandma, Louise who is 94 years old. I just wanted to thank you for developing this food. I have a 5-year-old cat, Spike, who had a blocked urethra earlier this year and spent considerable time at the vet. Upon his return, his recovery was very slow, and despite my best efforts, he was not gaining any weight lost during his hospitalization. On the advice of a co-worker, I tried Natural Balance and was amazed at the change in not only Spike but all my cats. Spike has put on weight, his coat, along with my other cats, looks great, all of them have increased energy and just generally look fantastic. Thanks again for this product. My 11 year old Bichon Frise, Mimi was diagnosed with Cushings Disease last Feb, 2009. We were told she would more than likely not make it six months. By July she was so ill that we knew every night that in the morning we might face the possibility of not finding her alive in her bed. I had to face the facts that my beloved "furry child" was in so much pain and so sick that I was going to have to going to have to do the humane thing and put her down. I made the last appointment with her groomer for one more spa day. She was so sick she could not stand up and had to lay down to be groomed. I also made the last appointment at the Vet to take her in to say goodbye, but in the office I just could not go through with putting her down.

I brought her home to die in her own bed with her sisters around her. Every day was a gift and every morning I was surprised to see her still with us. My husband went to our favorite pet store to purchase the dog food as usual. This time he bought what he thought was the same food he had bought before, but this time it was on sale! Thank God for sales!!! This time he bought Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Formulas. My dogs had been on Natural Balance food for probably three years, but this was LIMITED INGREDIENT DIETS. Within one week Mimi seemed better , by four weeks people were noticing a change. That was the end of July and early August. Today is October and my dog is NOT THE SAME DOG. There were 157 dogs rescued from a puppy mill-and I adopted a standard Poodle pup. Lucy le Rouge was somewhere near 6 months old. She was so starved you could feel and see every bone in her body, including her spine. She was covered in white flakes because her fur and skin were falling off due to malnutrition. Thank you so much for your Limited Ingredient Formulas. They have kept my Kuvasz, River, alive for several years. She becomes intolerant of foods and is sensitive to chicken fat, which your formulas do not contain. I have read that dogs are only allergic to the protein, but when I have given her a food with chicken fat, she will vomit immediately. Her condition with IBD is life threatening, as she can have refux from some foods, which she aspirates into her lungs due to her laryngeal paralysis causing aspiration pneumonia. So it is vital that we give her a formula with just a few ingredients as she is sensitive to many foods. I had tried cooking for her, but was worried about her food being balanced. I am so grateful to you! She has done so well on your food. We use both the dry and canned. The canned food is a good consistency and the Liver is fantastic. She will take her pills in your canned food in a meatball easily and she needs pills three times a day. I just discovered the rolls and it helps when we are out to have something tempting that is easy to carry. Thanks again! I have 3 Shih Tzus and my oldest, ChuHe is considered a liver color-very light skinned. He also had extreme food allergies & would scratch himself raw. A friend told me about your LID brand and since i switched him to both the dry & canned, his scratching has lessened. And this is only after 1 week on it! Even though I am unemployed, my 3 boys will continue eating your Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Formulas because their health and comfort come first. just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the food that you create. I am owned by two Newfoundlands and live in South Louisiana. Needless to say ears and skin problems come with the territory. "The Boys" have been eating your cans and kibble for a number of years now. One of my boys has re-occurring full body yeast infections. In researching natural alternatives to the $150 for 14 days of meds, I came across a sight that suggested a meat based diet to help combat yeast infections. I immediately thought of your food rolls which I have used as treats. It has been just over a month now since I added the food roll to their daily meal and we have no signs of yeast. Two years ago, I adopted my two German Shepherds (one female and one male) when they were puppies, from a local German Shepherd Rescue. Having been a vegetarian myself for 34 years now and knowing the vast benefits of a healthy diet, I wanted to raise my dogs as vegetarian right from day one. Two of my previous German Shepherds had been on a vegetarian diet for the last few years of their lives, but I had never done this with such young dogs before. I feed them Natural Balance Vegetarian Formula for one of their daily meals and I cook for them for their second daily meal, as well as giving them daily yoghurt or kefir and a hardboiled egg. They are both now going on 3 years old and they are extremely healthy and gorgeous and they love their food. Almost every time I take them for a walk, at least one person remarks on how gorgeous they are. My only problem is that here where I live in Orlando, there are so very few places that sell the Vegetarian Formula - two local Petco stores where I used to buy it have now both stopped stocking the large bags (I guess not enough people want to feed their dogs this way). I am now down to only one store not too close to my house, which is disappointing. Online shopping is out of the question because of the huge shipping cost. I wish there were some way to get the message out to more people how well dogs can thrive on a vegetarian diet. Thank you for continuing to make this product. Lesley - FL

I have a 10yr old Scottish Terrier who is highly allergic to any corn products and was diagnosed with severe hypothyroidism 2yrs ago. She is on thyroid med and is regulated. Her hair was fine, balding, dry and she had scaly areas on her skin--not too good looking. She was being fed IVD venison and potato due to her allergy to corn. When that became hard to get, I found Natural Balance Sweet Potato & Venison. After about a month, I noticed her activity level had increased; two months: her hair regrew with better appearance; 3 months: activity level way up, hair absolutely gorgeous-not dry or balding and no skin problem-she is prettier now than she has been in at least 3 yrs. I wasn't sure what caused all these changes and then I saw your ad on rv that stated about increased energy for your dog. You didn't lie!!! I have a 2 1/2 y.o. old pitbull mix that recently started with VERY bad allergies in April she looked so bad we thought she had mange. All she did was scratch and chew herself it was horrible! My 3 lhasa apsos have been on the Natural Balance Potato & Duck dry food for a long time now. I just recently switched to another very reputable brand that my dogs actually used to eat years ago. Well, they did not do well at all with the transition. Even though I transitioned them very slowly, mixing in the new food little by little, my dogs' stomachs were very upset (that's a nice way of saying it!). In addition, when I put the food in front of them, they didn't really seem to "wolf" it down like they do the Natural Balance. That's when I knew I had to go back to the Natural Balance. wanted to drop a quick comment to express thanks for carrying the L.I.D formulas. My dog has grain allergies and though I was happy with the brand of natural food he was on, they did not offer grain-free options. From the first Natural Balance LID bag of food I purchased, my dog has been hooked. Not just happy or content, all-out addicted. Normally a pretty cool and calm guy when it comes to feeding, if someone reaches for the "log", he goes crazy. He immediately sits, readies his paw for a shake and is barely capable of maintaining the anticipation wiggles! So thanks again for a great line of products. We're soon to be adding a cat to our family and I'm excited to see how he/she responds with your cat food line. T.

Our pet Truman is a standard daschund. Having grown up in a family that actively raised labradors, I was worried about having a smaller house dog whose breed is prone to weight and back issues. We had decided (based solely on biased descriptions on food packages) to buy a very expensive "breed specific formula" for Truman in order to manage his health. However, at the checkout, a pet store attendant advised us that we would be wasting our money on that particular food and that we should instead try Natural Balance. That day was four and a half years ago, our dog is still in excellent health, and we are now advocates for feeding this food to our pets.
